Created for the Women Who Code Hackathon for Social Good 2023.
A web app designed to enhance users' reading comprehension
skills by offering a range of features. It provides access to a selection
of public domain books for reading, along with the option to enable
text-to-speech for auditory learning. The app employs AI to generate
definitions of unfamiliar words within the text and offers AI-generated
pop quizzes to test users' comprehension. Additionally, users can import
their own texts, such as articles and textbook passages, to apply these
features to their personal reading materials. PagePal offers a versatile
and personalized learning experience to help users improve their reading
comprehension.
